Painting Kitchen Cabinets Innovatively for Individual Style

Cabinets (BEFORE)

We were hired to paint these kitchen cabinets to make the kitchen seem brighter and give them a more contemporary look.

The kitchen is the place where you spend time cooking healthy dishes for your loved ones. So, you need to pay little attention to enhancing its look. The surface of the kitchen is often exposed to moisture, dirt, and waste. So, paint your cabinets periodically with durable and attractive colors to add beauty to your workplace. To improve its appearance, you need to use the right shade on your walls and cabinets. Painting is the best option to give a stylish makeover to your kitchen without spending much money.

Solid colors: Select crisp white paint for your cabinet. It is suitable for any kitchen door. If your walls are already painted with white or any light colors, you can improve their look by painting with contrast colors like black or brown. A yellow cabinet gives a warm look especially if painted with grey walls and surfaces. If you want a cheer or bright appearance in your kitchen space, use gray cabinets.

Latex or oil: Popular paint options that are used to cover your cabinets are latex and oil paints. Interior designer’s advice to use oil-based paints. It makes the exterior surface smoother and stronger compared to latex paints. Latex counterparts lack potential durability. But these water-soluble paints are easier to work, and these paints dry quickly compared to oil paints.

Faux painting: These paintings give an antique appearance to your kitchen. To make it more attractive, choose two different shades with the same color base. A select solid dark shade or metallic shade that works well for all cabinets. Avoid using rollers to apply color. Instead, choose a brush with large and strong bristles.

Crackle painting: If you want to give an ancient look to your cabinets, use crackle paint. This type of painting requires three coating materials: base coat, crackle medium, and top coating. Crackle medium is a type of chemical substance that makes the topcoat form cracks of irregular shape and sizes.

Antique finishes: Though this is an old practice, whitewashes and antique glazes give a modern look to your kitchen. Whitewashing gives it a faded color appearance, whereas antique glaze gives an old look to the cabinet. First, paint it with light or dark blaze colors, then using a rag, eliminate some of the glazes. Now, paint the cabinet with the existing color or a new color before giving a final touch.

Modern styles: There are different painting techniques to give a modern look to your kitchen. Paint cabinets with solid colors or use a sponge to create a new design on the sold background. If you want a sleek, glossy finish on it, use sprayers. Sponge painting gives a modern appearance to

Here is a list of advantages that vinyl replacement windows offer:

1) Energy efficiency  First of all, vinyl is a plastic that is a good insulator. Since a large amount of the heat loss from houses is probably through windows, using vinyl frames for your new windows can save a lot of money throughout the years.

2) Preparation and maintenance Unlike wooden frames, vinyl frames do not need to be painted. They are rather easy to clean and they can last much longer with no fading. They will stay in good condition for a long period of time. Unlike metal replacement windows, vinyl windows do not rust and deteriorate.

3) Save on fixing and purchase expenses  Replacement vinyl window kits can replace your window sash and be sized to fit into your existing window frames. They are comparatively easy to install and the least expensive method of window replacement.

4) Window replacements save you time The fact that you do not need to paint vinyl window frames, and they don’t need any staining or other preservation methods will save you time and money over the years.

5) Vinyl presents a large variety of options   Because vinyl replacement windows are made from plastic, they can be manufactured in a great variety of styles, sizes, and colors. This makes it simple to find a style or color that suits any decor.

In summary, you have the possibility to choose windows that will compliment both the exterior and interior design of your house at an affordable cost.
